Applicants must answer at least 32 questions correctly in order to pass the test. The written knowledge test consists of 40 multiple-choice questions about traffic safety laws from the Washington State Driver Guide. For those under 18 will need a parent with photo ID. Please bring photo ID to verify identity. Your WDL number, which is provided at the time of pre-applying, permit number, WA State ID card or previous WA license number is required at the time of testing.
